Garry Beckett: Garry is and has been an active member of River Valley Church for over 20 years, serving as an Elder, Small Group Leader and Missions Team Leader. He has over 40 years of experience in the business world in marketing, sales, accounting and corporate leadership. God has developed in Garry, a passion to serve young people that are in need and that have little or no opportunity to receive an education to be successful and to aid their countrymen. His spiritual gifts are discernment, encouragement, administration and evangelism. Garry and his wife Linda of over forty years have four children, fourteen grandchildren and are now raising a fourteen year old Honduran girl, that will attend high school and college in United States.
Qualifications: Business management including accounting, financial, marketing and business development. Elder leadership, international mission experience and knowledge and spiritual development.
Duties: Ministry leadership, fundraising, donor development, family / student qualifications / evaluations, family / student follow-up, accounting and marketing.
Linda Beckett: Linda is and has been an active member of River Valley Church for over 20 years serving in childcare, as a Small Group Leader and participating in missions’ trips. She was a ‘stay-at-home-mom’ for many years and then joined the health care field as a New Patient Coordinator at a large dental clinic. Linda’s caring and compassionate Christ centered life is an inspiration to many people. Her spiritual gifts are hospitality and compassion.
Qualifications: Clerical, spiritual leadership, child development, family development and international missions’ ministry.
Duties: Spiritual development, donor development, family / student qualifications / evaluations and family / student follow-up.
Roger Walterhouse: Roger Walterhouse has been on multiple mission fields and has seen the need for hope in the eyes of many children. One of his great spiritual passions isto see children embrace a Kingdom calling. Roger is married to Susan and has two daughters. He has been a licensed pastor for 25 years having served churches in Indiana, Michigan and Nebraska. He has the spiritual gifts of teaching, encouragement and shepherding. He spends his free time tending a saltwater fish tank and playing harmonica.
Qualifications: International missions’ ministry, pastoral leadership, family counseling, childhood development and spiritual leadership.
